About us
AMKE Bridges of Peace was founded in 2020 with a vision to create bridges of communication, dialogue and mutual understanding among people and communities, fostering a society grounded in multiculturalism, democracy and mutual acceptance.
At the core of our mission is the promotion of social cohesion, peaceful coexistence, and respect for human dignity and diversity. We believe that contemporary societies progress through cooperation, solidarity and open dialogue, creating opportunities for participation and growth for all.
Our actions are inspired by the humanitarian values of the Hizmet movement, which promotes education, social contribution, tolerance and interfaith dialogue. These principles are the cornerstone of how we operate and are reflected in every initiative we undertake.
We develop and implement cultural, educational, social and environmental actions, as well as programmes supporting vulnerable social groups, with the aim of strengthening social cohesion, promoting active civic participation and cultivating a culture of solidarity and cooperation.
Our team consists of active citizens, young people and volunteers of different nationalities and cultural backgrounds, who work with dedication, responsibility and a shared vision for a more just, open and inclusive society.
AMKE Bridges of Peace is, above all, a meeting place of ideas, people and visions. An organisation that encourages dialogue, promotes cooperation and creates opportunities so that every person can participate actively, express themselves freely and contribute meaningfully to shaping a society based on respect, solidarity and peace.
